Jose Mourinho used Man United U-16 players as Ball Boys against Liverpool

– When you are talking about tactics and tricks to win football matches, Jose Mourinho is still one of the best football manager in that regard.

It’s revealed that Jose opted for Manchester United U-16 team players as ball boys in their 1-1 draw against Liverpool. The United tactician made the change as he believed team players have better understanding of the game than regular ball boys. The youth players were also enlightened on when to serve the ball at the right time and when to delay play.

It would be recalled that, Mourinho’s row with Eva Caneiro at Chelsea was based on what the coach termed as lack of understanding the game by the physio. The Portuguese was mad at Eva when she rushed to treat injured Eden Hazard.

Speaking about Mourinho game plan, a United source said:

“Yes it’s true that Jose did change the ball boys for the Liverpool game.

“Prior to that, the task was carried out through the Manchester United Foundation but the manager changed it against Liverpool and brought in boys from one of the Acadamy teams.

“We aren’t sure what will happen at future games.

Jose Mourinho have also slugged it out with ball boys many times. As Chelsea manger last season, this is what he said when they were defeated at Kings Power Stadium by Leicester City:

Leicester fought with everything. They defended with everything — and their ball boys were amazing too”

“I say the point about the ball boys because it’s a disgrace for the Premier League, but I don’t want that story to be in front of a result Leicester deserved.”

United salvaged 1-1 draw against Liverpool last week, thanks Zlatan Ibrahimovic equalizer to cancel out James Milner penalty.
